The Site’s Limited Role

This is a private reference site, not an arm of any government office. It does not keep official jail, court, or booking records and cannot verify custody, release a person, or file documents for a visitor.

It identifies official paths for Rock County, including the sheriff, contracted Nobles County custody listing, Minnesota courts, and MN DOC, and may connect visitors with independent research tools. Government data access rules, including Minn. Stat. § 13.03, apply to the public office that holds a record, not to this private reference site.

Permitted Site Use

Use the site lawfully and with respect for the people and offices discussed in its materials.

• Do not violate any law while accessing or using the site.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Do not use information for an FCRA-covered decision.
• Do not attempt unauthorized access to this site or an external service.
• Do not use bots, scrapers, or similar automated collection tools without permission.
• Do not interfere with the site or another visitor’s access to it.

FCRA-Prohibited Uses

Rock County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not furnish background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. You agree not to use site information for the prohibited purposes below.

• Employment, hiring, firing, or promotion decisions.
• Tenant or housing screening decisions.
• Creditworthiness decisions or insurance pricing.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program.
• Any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

External Resources

Links may lead to jail and custody listings, sheriff or corrections sites, court portals, legal resources, or outside search services. Rock County Busted Mugshots does not control or endorse their material, availability, data practices, or terms. Review each destination’s own rules before using it.

Information Provided As Is

All material is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no promise about the following matters.

• Accuracy, completeness, or current status of information.
• Continuous or uninterrupted site operation.
• Freedom from errors, bugs, or security defects.
• Completeness or usefulness of a partner’s search result.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing on this site is an official statement by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Nobles County, a court, or another government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent Minnesota law permits, Rock County Busted Mugshots is not liable for a loss or damage arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this site or a linked resource.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rock County Busted Mugshots and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees resulting from your use of the site or violation of these terms.

Intellectual Property

Site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Rock County Busted Mugshots or its content partners, unless another owner is identified. They may not be copied, distributed, or modified without prior written permission.

Updates to These Terms

We may change these terms at any time. Revised terms take effect when they are posted on this page.

Access May Be Revoked

We may limit, suspend, or end access to the site at any time, for any reason, and without notice.

Minnesota Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any dispute must be brought in a court located within Minnesota, subject to applicable law.

Severability

If a court finds one portion of these terms unenforceable, the remaining portions continue in effect. The affected portion will be limited only as much as necessary.
